They sure as heck had pulled out of this route ENTIRELY (thus those of us who said they were pulling out were RIGHT), but have now decided to return ONE flight because they fear that they can't convince customers to drive to JFK
to fly B6
. In other words, they were going to fly CO
will try again to pull pax from CO
, but this time, with 1 flight a day. They will likely fill this plane, but whether they can do it profitably, who knows?
We'll see if it sticks. But it seems more like the once daily SYR
flight at this point vs. establishing a strong foothold at EWR
to give CO
a run for it's money.
Calling this proof that EWR
is going as planned for B6
is drinking blue juice. Hopefully this winter will be better and they will be able to really expand at EWR
. But right now, they are flying fewer flights than they have in the past at the same time they are trying to establish a new focus airport...
