AA Seat Updates

Sat Jun 03, 2006 4:35 am

Hey All

I looked at the AA website but that did not give me great information. I just wanted to know what the new differences in the AA business class seats will be? (The refitted ones on the 763). Are they changing the entire seat or just recovering it? Also will it be a lie-flat seat? When are these scheduled to finish?

Thanks,

It is a completely new "lie-flat seat", the first one is coming out of the retrofit in a week or so (I understand). It will fly as a test aircraft until September (there are a number of other changes, including IFE changes, so I guess they want to make sure everything is right). Then, the rest of the fleet will go through reconfiguration with a scheduled completion of the program in January 2007.
