CQ Air Predictions...

Sat Jun 03, 2006 9:45 am

I know it was discussed before but upon searching the forum, I found nothing. So I am putting it out there for discussion..

So CQ Air is supposed to announce routes, fleet, etc, and a new name on Monday..

I know their website shows a B1900, but does anyone have any news as to anything? Their website seems pretty secretive.. any rumores, thoughts, or predictions?

Here's a link to their webpage for everyone...hopefully tomorrow there will be an update with the big "news."

http://www.cqair.com/

I think the gen'l consensus is that they will have a lot going on at MDT (put ther "HQ" there). I really can't see a small start-up with B1900-type planes making much money, but who knows, I guess anything is possible. It would be great to have someone make good use of that nice newly redone airport in H-burg.

Today is the day.. hopefully they will update the website with some information..

Wonder what this airline will do. It's always exciting to see a new incombant because the current airlines are getting too big and too numerous..

Just to clarify, I believe the picture on the website is a J41.

Reguardless, I am waiting for the big secret to be revealed today!

No announcement as of yet and it is 05 Jun. And that is a J41 on the homepage.

Nice how a local paper informs us that the big announcement will be delayed, while the CQ website is still touting a 6/5 big announcement. They must co-source their IT/website work from the brain trust at US or something.

Any word on a rescheduled date for the "big announcement?"

Haven't seen or heard anything else. On their website, under "Reservation" they have an asterisk next the the date "June 5th, 2006"

The asterrisk denotes: "Subject to Reulatory Approval."

Maybe that means the FAA is dragging it's butt gettting them out of the gate.
