BA 747-100's

Thu Feb 18, 1999 5:37 am

Are the British Airways 747-100's that are being retired going to be scrapped? Also, why are they being flown to Cardiff before going on to Roswell, N.M.?

They are going to be scrapped and they are going to be stripped of parts in Cardiff. The will take stuff that can be used again on other planes.

Not all of them may be scrapped. Some may find homes with new airlines.
