EI Flights SNN/DUB

EI has an A330 flight from SNN to DUB on weekdays departing SNN as EI125 at 1245 and arriving DUB at 1330. Does this flight start in SNN and go via DUB to the US or does it arrive into SNN from the US and then continue with passengers from the US to DUB?

EI125 is SNN-DUB-ORD, I'd imagine it either arrives in to SNN from ORD or some other US Airport.

AFAIK , EI125 is the same aircraft as EI124 operating on the 9.15am to SNN. THe EI125 then arrives in DUB, passangers get off do the US pre clearance thing and get on another A330 waiting to do the DUB-ORD leg.
The A330 that operated the Snn-DUB leg of the EI 125 is then used on the last DUb-JFK leg. I Think this is the situation.

No it isn't - nowhere on aerlingus.com does it explain how they use the A330 fleet and that was my question.

Thats just stupid! Offloading all SNN baggage in the hold plus cargo to a 330 on the stand beside it for no other reason than to give it an axtra 3 hrs on the ground.

Certainly not the case on the summer timetable. The EI109 afternoon service to JFK is operated by the previous days EI105/4 which does a quick 2.5hr turnaround in the morning to operate EI584 to Malaga and back M-W-F-S and then I believe again its the previous days 105/4 that operates the -T-T-- morning service to Nice and back.

The schedule is quite confusing but that is the case for those two routes at least. I dont know how they swap aircraft around on certain routes but you've also got to bear in mind the lunchtime EI111 to JFK, EI145 to LAX and the EI102 to DXB being juggled around also

DL 112 pax clear customs in the US, at least I think they do the bags are taken to the FIS belts not to the domestic belts as the do for the NAS flights.

Yes, that is correct--they pre-clear immigration in Ireland, but clear customs on arrival in the U.S.
