Low May for Airbus with only six orders
PARIS (Reuters) - Airbus recorded six device controls in May, that is to say its lowest month since the beginning of the year.
For the second consecutive month, the European airframe manufacturer did not have of ordering of large transport aircraft on behalf of the airline companies, a deprived purchaser not identified nevertheless having ordered A330-200.
Airbus also sold five apparatuses mono-corridors in May, carrying its order book for 2006 to 84 mono-corridors and 21 large transport aircrafts, is 105 orders on the whole.
The airframe manufacturer had recorded 1.111 orders in 2005, a record for the company which envisages like its Boeing competitor a deceleration this year.
