Eastern Airways T3 Question (LCY Flights)

Thu Jun 08, 2006 11:08 pm

Wednesday Afternoon and Evening, the flights were operated by an Eastern Airways J41 G-MAJM. Wishful thinking on my part, I was hoping that T3 metal had finally arrived.

Thursdays flights have reverted back to D328 of Cirrus D-CIRB.

Anyone know whats happening, what was the purpose of Wednesday J41 flights, or are they short of J41's?

Currently this route is scheduled to be operated by the 328, however some flights will operate with J41s pending conversion of the route to full J41 operation fairly soon.

Thanks for the info, just seemed a bit odd to me.

They lease a D328 from Cirrus while they train crew, and then operate 2 flights themselves, and revert back to the D328.

Just wondered if there was an underlying reason why they chose Wednesday Afternoon & Evening to try the J41.

Thanks Anyway.
