AA's 777's - 200 Or 200ER?

Tue Jun 13, 2006 2:15 am

Are AA's 777's - 200 or 200ER models? I fly regularly with them from LHR to LAX, which I thought was beyond the range of the 772? Also they are flying to India now, so surely these need to be ER models or are they stopping en route?

What is the range of the 777 200 and the 777 200ER?

All of AA 772's are ER's  Smile

UA has a mix of 200ER's and 200's!
DL, CO and AA just have 200ER's  Smile

The India routes (DEL) are served by 200ER's, EWR-HKG is another long route served by the 200ER  Smile

It all depends on the Engine, but they are all pretty similar. Take a look at our
a/c data page located on the top hyperlink bar  Smile

I just flew on one last week from LHR-LAX.....was relaxing on seat 31J with my computer on and working on some photos I took at LHR when the captain walked up to me and asked if I had "any AA planes"..to which I showed him a plethora of AA 777 photos, then he asked if I had "downloaded them" to which I said "I just took 'em" and showed them to him..he liked them.. thumbsup ..

ok..off my tangent now....

they are all -200ER models, powered by Rolls Royce Trent 892's..

cheers.. wave
