Gill Airways (or Gill Aviation/Gill Air as it used to be known) used to fly PIK-BHD and NCL-MAN.
It's only route from GLA ever, IIRC, was to BOH, after Euroscot collapsed.

It did look at GLA-MAN but the Business Air service beat them to it. BA were on the route too with jets. However, I used them regularly and remember NCL being fogbound so ended up flying CAX-MAN, with Gill bussing us to CAX. I stuck with the CAX option out of curiousity, and it is fair to say that the ten of us swamped the CAX facilities.

Ba757gla,
We are talking 1989 here. In those days I remember flying on the 1-11s then, which shifted to ATPs later.

What ever happened Gill Air? Bankruptcy? I remember plane spotting at Belfast City Airport as a kid and it was nice to a red tail Gill Air ATR flying in every now and then

They had financial problems before September 11th and had been financially restructered with the Shorts fleet retired. However after September 11th the bank pulled the plug

Shame. If they were still around today they might still have been flying HUY-CDG for AF
