Need Some Help.....

Fri Jun 16, 2006 7:56 am

I and a group of us are flying to GLA and returning from SNN all from DTW in August of this year. Earlier someone said something about having to clear security again if we arrive from DTW to the F terminal. I know that we are flying from DTW to PHL on flight 3760 which is a CRJ by Air Wisconsin and connecting to US flight 564. The return is flight 71 connecting with flight 3797 back to DTW. Can anyone tell me where these flight come in at (gate wise) and depart from. And if we have to clear security again after landing in PHL???? We have a group of 38 people. And if possible what is the on-time arrival and depart on the above flights...

I know that this is allot to ask, but I like to know what I'm getting into before I leave.....

Thanks for your help

Hey Chuck. I'm not familiar at all with PHL, but here's the data as best I can think to give it to you.

It looks to me, looking at expedia flight status from the last few days, and the next few upcoming, like 3760s favorite gate is F37, but went into F32 today. All the other dates I checked (about a week around today) went into F37.

Flight 564 seems to operate out of terminal A, usually between A4 and A8, but occasionally (only once of the days I checked) out of A24.

Flight 71 seems to come into A4, A6, or A8, so all pretty close together, near as I can tell.

Flight 3797 uses terminal F, and from the past week it likes anywhere in between F24 and F35.

Quoting DTWAGENT (Thread starter):

Not quite sure what you mean. If you want the departure and arrival times:
US3760: 5:45pm-7:25pm
US564: 8:20pm-8:20am
US71: 11:10am-1:25pm
US3797: 3:35pm-5:18pm

If there was any apparent trend, it seems that the flights are running a tad bit on the late side, but I certainly wouldn't count on it.

Hope this helps!

Cameron

Thanks Cameron. I check the other day and flight 3760 was not due to arrival until 9:35pm. However, flight 564 was scheduled for an on-time departure. This was durning bad weather in PHL. I'm hoping that this does not happen to use. Because I don't know what US will do with all 35 of us if we miss that connection... The only thing I need to know is, Do we have to go thur security again after leaveing terminal F and then going into Terminal A for our connecting flight?????

But thanks again for this info....

All I can say after doing a little research is, "I feel terribly sorry for you, Chuck." PHL sounds like an absolutely horrible airport to transit through, or even O&D at. I couldn't find for an absolute certainty whether you do or not, but I'm under the near definate impression that you do. Not to mention terminals A and F are as far as can be from one another.
