EasyJet - LPL Begins Conversion To Airbus.

The LPL conversion from B737 to A319 begins on 12th July with the delivery of G-EZAY direct from Airbus at XFW.

Thank god! Hopefully they will rotate the 319s around the bases as being a northerner, it sure is hard to log all of them!

Any chance of the July 19th service to BSL from LPL being run by a A319.

Apparently Belfast, Newcastle and Luton will be the only base operating the 73G's once all the remaining -300's have been given away for someone else to abuse. However as they use Crew's from NCL to cover a lot of the duties from LTN it seems madness as we can not get to LTN directly from NCL which makes staffing the flights harder, they would have been better off leaving Scottish bases Boeing and replacing Boeing for Airbus at BFS and NCL. Due to the regular flights direct from GLA and EDI, staff can be called from standby at home and operate out of Luton later that day with a lot less fuss.
