73M's Back At SEA

Sun Jun 18, 2006 4:40 am

I noticed in June's OAG that AS has a 737-200C scheduled between SEA-KTN. If this is true, where at Sea-Tac do they park the aircraft?

On the Cargo Apron outside of the AS cargo ops.

Last Sunday morning I saw an Alaska 737-200C parked at Concourse C just north of the Horizon gates. I had never seen one there before since I always thought they departed from D1, C1 or C3.

I am guessing that this plane was probably full of fish from KTN to SEA.

That whole area between D1 and C3 is under construction. The area adjacent to the QX gates makes sense. They could board or disembark the 73M's using one of QX's gates.

That is just for the freighters.
Currently flights 65/64 are on a 73M and operate from the C or D concourses. Once the all freighter 734 and the 734 combi make it out of mod in DHN,
then flights 65/64 will be operated by the 734 combi
and the mail freighter will be operated by the 734 freighter.
After that, 73Ms won't be coming to SEA very often.

How pathetic. The fish get to ride up front while the passengers have to sit in the back.  Big grin

The all freighter is late June and the combi is sometime in July.
Not holding my breath, however.
