Incident At MAN Today Involving Finnair.

Mon Jun 19, 2006 7:08 am

I dont have a clue what happend and i was wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

A finnair A319/A320 landed at MAN today at around 5pm. When it was on the ground i had a look round the terminals and saw it park up with police cars chasing it. (Around 5 or 6 to put a figure on it). I wanted to find out more, but i got escorted away from my position by police.

As is continued to look around different terminals, i kept on seeing different police cars entering T3 and going onto the tarmac at MAN. Police then surrounded all areas around the termianls around MAN and it was impossible to spot.

Anyway, does anyone have anymore info on what happend on the Finnair flight and why the police was cornering off all areas too spot.

Any info will do, Cheers,

Finns are famous for their drinking habits. Someone started his/her Midsummer celebration a bit early. Or; wasn't there a case with a Finnair pilot and too much alcohol somewhere in Britain some time ago? Same thing again...?

Maybe a passenger that wasn't cooperating with the flight crew? Possible threat?
Avoid hangovers, stay drunk.

I doubt they'd send out more than a couple officers to detain a drunk, but I hope you're right.
