Sudan Airways Current Fleet

Mon Jun 19, 2006 10:21 pm

I will be flying Sudan Airways AUH-KRT for work on SD239 / 29JUN. The aircraft type showing in Amadeus is AB3, so if it operates as scheduled it should be an A300.

I know, however, that SD do equipment swaps regularly, having also seen A310s, B722s and B732s regularly here in AUH. I would like to see a current list of the SD fleet, but it seems to be difficult to find this information. Also, I would be interested to know whether SD only fly the A300-600, or whether any older A300 types are still flown.

If anyone has any current information, I would be most grateful.

Ian.

Sorry for asking, but what work could you possibly have in Khartoum?

You selling arms to one of those warlords eh?  Wink
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

This is the fleet:

The F-ODTK has a new registration, ST-ASS, and is back in service. New is the ST-ATA, a former China Airlines A300-622R (leased from Air Atlanta Iceland).

It would be online by the next update of our site.

Even with all the turmoil, life goes on even in places like Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan and the United States. What I would do to fly SD, but then again not know whether I will really fly until I board the flight...
