SEA and SAN are getting 1x weekly service to HNL this year, however I haven't seen anything about PDX. Maybe wikipedia is wrong?

Could PDX support a 3rd carrier on the route? I'll bet that it's a mistake.

With it being Saturday only it's not really a huge increase in seats.

And a huge percentage of the seats have been bought by tour operator Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays.

Perhaps UA operating SEA/PDX-HNL flights could be a pre-emptive strike against Alaska's future Hawaiian plans, considering PDX & SEA are dominated by AS.

Here is UA's press release announcing expanded service to Hawaii. No mention of PDX - Wikipedia is incorrect on this one.

Yeah, I couldn't find anything on it either. If Pleasant Hawaiian has bought a truckload of seats, I wonder if it's operating more on a charter basis?
