Allegiant Air Service

Thu Jun 22, 2006 5:18 am

Has anyone here flown Allegiant Air? I was just wondering about their service, etc., because I will be flying them Sanford to Portsmoth, NH (SFB-PSM) on July 3. Any comments of what to expect would be great.

It is a buy on board service for drinks and eats.

It is great. Comfortable leather seats, a great crew, and you can choose where ever to sit. I flew it from RFD-SFB. Would definitely recommend it. Usually fly the legacy carries, but this made sense in the last minute. Hope you enjoy it.

Quoting Nopeotone (Reply 2):

If you shell out an extra $10 each way you can. Otherwise seats are assigned at check-in.

I doubt, and hope there wont be another focus city or hub in Florida. If there was , they'd probably just fly from there to cities they alraedy serve..

Their website has a funny disclaimer about the buy-on-board. I was looking at the SHV-LAS so this might just apply when looking at LAS flights. It says, and this is not a quote but rather my memory "we are the cheapest airline in the industry. Let the big casinos bring you the free drinks. If you want one in flight, you'll have to pay for it" And that includes paying for soft drinks.

They also sell Elvis sunglasses, neon Las Vegas necklaces, etc.
See, I knew American Eagle was first class all along!
