Has Anyone Flown Icelandair?

Fri Jun 23, 2006 11:46 am

I'm thinking of booking a flight from BWI-CDG on Icelandair, but am wondering how great of an airline it is. I mean, I must admit, doing a trans-atlantic flight in a B757 doesn't sound appealing, but it's the cheapest so far. Anyone care to comment on their service, etc.?

They were ok, Id fly them again no questions. I flew LHR-KEF-BOS and back and the food was really nice and the crew were some of the best I have ever known.

We flew the 753 from LHR to KEF and thats a nice aircraft. the 752's arent the best but like i say, not the worst across the pond. it is general view entertainment tho unless in the nice business class seats where you get given a hand held DVD player.

all up, I would recommed FI no questions asked and they are always my first port of call checking for flights to BOS and BWI

Regards
