Who Makes The IFE Systems For Delta's Aircraft?

Fri Jun 23, 2006 11:06 pm

I have asked this before, but have gotten no full answers. Who makes the IFE systems for the following aircraft?:

  • MD-90
  • 737-800
  • 757-200 (non-Song)
  • 767-300 Domestic
  • 767-300ER International (economy class)

I do know that the 767-400ER, 777-200ER, and the international 767-300ER in BusinessElite (except the four reconfigured aircraft) currently use Rockwell-Collins IFE. I also know that the ex-Song 757s and the newly-reconfigured 767-300ERs with BusinessElite use Panasonic IFE. Does anyone with Delta know the rest of the fleet?

Matsushita?

In that case, Matsushita is the name of the company and Panasonic is one of the brands they sell their products under. Technics is another one of their brands.

Mataushita Avionics Sytems? Matsushita has always been the parent of Panasonic, thought the latter name is much better known outside of Japan. The "National" brand sold appliances and other "white goods" made my Matsushita.
