VIE's strength has been that it was the gateway to Eastern Europe. Since OS
is in Star and Skyteam has OK
doesn't hold as much allure as it once did. Besides, DL
is serving or has plans to serve a number of cities in Eastern Europe.
I, too would like to see DL
but I probably would rather see JFK
service to ZRH

would work. I wouldn't rule out VIE
in the future but those 30 767 conversions can only go so far. DL
has grown in S. America, Africa, and Europe using them and I think you will see some of them show up in the Middle East and East Asia. Part of DL
's int'l growth strategy has to involving diversification of its route system, something which the 767 is very capable of doing.
