Emergency Landing At LTN Today

Mon Jun 26, 2006 8:03 am

This afternoon at work we were advised of a possible runway closure due to an aircraft inbound that had declared an emergency.....the aircraft was Titans 757 G-ZAPU, the aircraft did a fly past of the tower with gear down, then went around before landing at Luton, aircraft taxied to stand accompanied by the fire service.

I asked around at work to see if anyone knows what caused this, my guess was landing gear problems, but no one seemed to know.
