B6: JFK-AUA

Thu Jun 29, 2006 1:01 pm

As per B6's website:

"*Service is subject to receipt of government operating authority"

Translation?

Well, it means what it says. The service is subject to jetBlue receiving authority from the (relevant) govenrments.

JetBlue has receieved authority from the DOT - the US govenrment:

http://dms.dot.gov/search/document.c...m?documentid=400737&docketid=24914

So that only leaves one other - the government of Aruba.

Quite often, the "other country" government will wait until the airline's "home government" has approved the application before they take action.

I would expect it to be a formality.

As much as I am excited about B6...

Am I the only one having trouble keeping track of all of their new cities?  Wink

Tell me about it! I used to have all the starting dates as well as frequencies memorized. Now I can hardly memorize the cities, let alone the details!
