Emirates New Destination: Tunis

Thu Jun 29, 2006 8:43 pm

It seems that Emirates is finally introducing Tunis to its route network. The flights are loaded on Amadeus but nothing yet on EK's website.
These flights will be combined with Tripoli flights on a triangular basis.

on days 1-3---- DXB-TUN-TIP-DXB
on days -2--4-7 DXB-TIP-TUN-DXB

All flights will be operated by A332.

That's a good addition to Tunisia. How will QR, TU and RJ react to this move?
Next flights : BRU-ZRH-CAI (LX)/ BRU-FCO-TLV (AZ)

I think that this is a wrong move by EK. I would be incensed if I were a premium EK frequent flyer based in TIP... and there are many of them. First, they had to bear an excruciating stop at MLA, and now they will have an even more excruciating stop at TUN. I do not understand EK sometimes: one step forward, and then again one step back... EK, GET YOUR BLOODY ACT TOGETHER ONCE ANF FOR ALL!!!! IDIOTS.
