What Happened To The Nasa And Tupolev Plane?

Wed Jun 21, 2000 12:01 pm

I heard a couple of years ago that NASA and Tupolev were working together to build a more practical supersonic jet. In the process, they tool a Tu-144 out of the mothballs to do experiments with it. Anyone here know what happened to the joint venture? I haven't heard anything about it since the day I heard of it.

I think it died a quiet death after funding cuts at NASA.
