A recent picture shows a Delta 767-300ER with the winged headrests on economy class seats:

How many of the 767-300ERs have them? I thought only the 767-400ER and 777-200ER had them. The 737-800s used to have them, although they have been removed in favor of a thinner seatback, although I have heard that a few 737-800s still have them. A few 757s also had them, but were removed when converted to Song.

While I don't know the answer to your question, I'd like to point out that these make a big difference when trying to sleep on an airplane. As more airlines remove pillows and such, little things like this help to make a flight more comfortable.

That said, I don't think we'll see these brought back on the majority of planes for a few years as they generally require entirely new seats, which are expensive. However, I think DL needs to improve the seat quality (headrest, support, and PTV) in order to be competitive across the Atlantic in the future. The current configurations will work until that can be done though.

Yeah I saw that pic the other day and was wondering what was up with that. But wow...those seats are REALLY wide. They look exactly like the the F seats on the 764 (w/o the leather).

Can't recall the exact number but somewhere in the 5-8 range. I know that ships 1609 through 1613 definitely have them but don't remember whether ships 1606-1608 do...

Just like CO. I had them on my CO flts (except the 752). Afterwards it was going to SJO. They're really nice and hope delta installs more of them on their fleet.
