Only five or is that all you know of ?

I only found these five aircrafts. Maybe there more 747's operating in other parts of the world but I can not find them.

so actually the survival rate isn't that bad. But unless you try to get on a sketchy hadj flight with Northeast it will probably be impossible to get a ride on an ex Pan Am 747.

Even the great well know documented losses (or write-off's) in the Canary Islands back in 1977 and Lockerbie, Scotland back in 1988 were included. I'm sure there are many that wish the ghost of PanAm would come back and reincarnate in another carrier even by name. I think Steven Spielberg's 2002 movie "Catch Me If You Can" (starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks) helped spur this nostalgia on more than anything in recent years.
