First Choice To Start LGW-LIR In May 2007

Sat Jul 22, 2006 1:30 pm

Next year, Costa Rica will finally have a connection to the UK again! DP will start nonstop LGW-LIR flights next May. First Choice has announced Costa Rica as a new destination on their website and has a new page on the country online:

http://www.firstchoice.co.uk/costarica/

Plus in another news article from a few months ago, there were discussions of DP starting flights to Central and South America once their 787s start coming online in 2009.

Excellent news for the country. Now the airport will definitely need a much bigger terminal and maybe a longer runway if LIR continues to pick up more nonstop flights to Europe.

And is it possible to know which flight number it will have and what the schedule is going to be (frequencies, etc.)?
