Skywest Livery Question Re. Delta Connection CRJs

Sun Jul 23, 2006 12:25 am

Hi All,

I was wondering if anybody knows if Skywest is still flying any CRJs in the Delta Connection colors from 1997 as seen in the photo below. I did a quick look through the database and didn't see any photos more recent than late 2005.

I did see that Comair and ASA still have a/c in the old colors, but I'm more interested in the CRJs flying around the western US. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, they're still around. I even saw one of the really old paint jobs from before the '97 scheme about a month ago. I flew on one from SLC-DEN.

All you need to do is hang around SLC for about an hour and then you FOR SURE will see one!  vomit

I think there may only be two left. Those were the only two delivered
to us in the Ron Allen paint scheme. The others we flew like that
were from Comair and have all been returned to them.

Here is one I caught today on July 24, 2006:
SkyWest DC/Connect; Old Ron Allen livery

Didn't catch the reg' number yet (looks like N417SW--same as above), but DC/SkyWest does have a few left.
