MEA Evacuation Flights To Australia

Tue Jul 25, 2006 3:05 pm

Looks like MEA is making good use of some of their aircraft with A330s used to operate charter flights beetween Cyprus and Australia as part of the evacuation of Australian nationals.

Should be a nice opportunity for spotters in Sydney to view some MEA metal as they haven't operated into Australia for a few years now. I know that the large Lebanese community would be proud to see the cedar tree flying into Sydney airport.

You will also find some Thai aircraft operating into Perth airport and QF operating into Sydney from Ankara, Turkey.
