Girjet Boeing 757 Flying For Spanair?

Thu Jul 27, 2006 12:12 am

in an aviation magazine, I recently saw a picture of Girjets splendid looking Boeing 757 in bright red colours. Apparently, the plane is flying on behalf of Spanair. Anybody knows if that is the case and if there are any particular routes?

Hi Sven,

as I know, Spanair is flying only three 100's wet-leased from GIRjet.

According with web page, the airline uses the 752 on flights to IST, AMM, LCA, ATH,... on behalf many spanish touroperators.

GIRjet is waiting for a second 757 unit.

Spanair don't need 752 equipment because 321's and 320's cover the needs of this spanish airline.

Remembering too that JK had wet-leased an 752 from Transavia, Airtours and Monarch...
