RE: A340

Sat Feb 20, 1999 2:52 am

Sorry had to post this up here from the last post down under somewhere.

anyways, I was wondering whatever happened to the 5 A340-200/300 Royal Jordanian Airlines ordered a while back 8-10 years ago? I know they leased also 6 A320's.
A A340 in Royal Jordanian aircraft would look good. Also what happened to their 747-200C, back in the days when they where still ALIA?

I don't think that they ever received their A340s for some reason. The 747-200 was sold or returned to lessors as the airline homogenized on the L1011 series of aircraft.
