NetJet Bechjets (Hawker 400XP) - Since When?!

Sun Jul 30, 2006 9:53 am

Obviously a new aircraft type for them but this is the first time I have seen this. Anyone know how long they have been operating the type? I did a search and N145QS is indeed registered to NetJets. Hmmm...  Confused

They currently operate a handful of these aircraft. They serve a major market as they have a huge cabin but not the gulfstream range. They have had these aircraft for close to 3-4 years now.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

Don't think they are that old, but 1-2 years is more like it. N102QS I believe is their earliest frame, cn RK-380, with N106QS, cn RK-381, right behind. N105QS was reg'd back in Nov. 2005. N116QS, cn RK-385, was reg'd in 6/05.

Acording to the NetJets web site... orders placed in 2003, aircraft in worldwide fleet in 2005.

A huge cabin...???? LOL...!! It's the smallest plane in the NetJets fleet....

Eh? Huge?

But as the other posters have said, they seem to have a few of them... we get them thoughout the day at TEB, but nowhere near as many as their other types... The only thing more rare than their beechjets seems to be their King-Air 200 (200QS), it's the only one I've ever seen them operate...

You guys are correct; but is it possible that he was thinking of the Horizon instead of the 400XP?

Well If anything I would guess the Hawker 1000 (H25C) as EJA actually have this type... They don't have any of the Horizons (Hawker 8000?) yet.

Thanks for plugging my photo.  Wink Netjets operates the Citation 560. The Citation 560 cabin is smaller. I would much rather have Beechjet/Diamond over a Citation.

3-4 years is a BIG exageration. I think of myself as a bizjet enthusiast and I would have definitely noticed this. 1 year seems more like it.

Hope you don't mind dual engine flameouts. 3 times in 2 years-ouch. One landed with NEITHER engine operating!
Last one a month ago. Yikes.

Have you heard...
The AV-8B Harriers are still the most unsafe military aircraft, statistically. I would take my chances.

Thanks for the stats.
