DL Is Now Warning On TLV Flights

Wed Aug 02, 2006 8:51 am

Doesn't seem like anything's delayed or cancelled, but the 8/1/06 update of the DL website is carrying a warning about travel to Tel Aviv ...

Funny thing is, the flight has been timely, and I haven't seen any cancellations.

What are they really warning about then?

you mean, what are they advising them about!!!

question arises out of this. Some folks on here have suggested that DL might start up JFK to TLV service. Does the current situation in Israel put these plans on hold?

If they think they can fill the planes, no doubt in my mind they'll start that service.

A better question is this - in light of this ongoing crisis, how are the loads on the ATL-TLV flights?

There's an awful lot of Israel that isn't anywhere near where those rockets can reach, after all ...
