Just listening to the MDW atc and there shutting down on the ground and all approaches are aborting.

Looking at fboweb.com, RFD got a bunch of AA and UA. Looks like there's an Asiana 747 in MKE. SBN seems to have gotten several RJs.

Indeed, MKE has had two Asiana 744's in about a 3-week span now.

Hi Everyone,

My sister is coming in on the last TED flight tonight from DEN to MDW. The flight was due in at 10:05 but delayed to 10:40. Now I can't view it's status on United's or Ted's website. Anyone have any idea if that one got diverted? Thanks for the help!

I also ate my tickets for tonite's game - they are now in the dryer along with my shirt. shorts and Cubs hat!

I did see an MD-80 sneak into ORD through the clouds onto the 27L approach around 8-ish from my dry vantage point under the upper deck while drinking a beer - amazing he found a hole. The storms really blew up around ORD tonite. Its 11:40pm and its still raining - it has been raining/thundering for at least 5 hours here.

Any other good diversions tonite?

The postponed game was bad news. My company gave me and a few coworkers seats to the company's box along the first base line. It was nice to sit inside and eat and drink while watching the monsoon outside. A couple of times the rain let up, but a few minutes later it was raining just as hard or even harder. Driving home tonight past ORD I noticed that it was still very quiet out there except for a few incoming flights. How long after weather like this is ORD and MDW back to normal?

And the storms yesterday/this morning at ORD are still affecting flights. I'm guessing one of the BA flights to ORD got diverted to DTW yesterday?
