CO DEL-EWR Loads

Hi I'm planning to non-rev DEL-EWR on 15 or 16 August, can someone please advise me of the loads. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Oversold in coach on both days.

CO even advises their own employees to have other airline backups to/from India and China when traveling stand-by due to heavy loads and possible weight restrictions. You might get lucky though. It's hard to say.

the 17th has a slightly better chance, but it's sold out again on the 18th

Sounds like the flight loads are good! Any idea on wheather CO or AA are making money on their Indian flights?

How well does the US airlines do on flights to HKG/China?

As someone who barely made it out of DEL on CO83 with a very high SA boarding priority, I wish you luck. Getting stuck at DEL can be a very difficult (and expensive) situation.

The flights seem quite empty in September - so it sounds like August is a "high season". Maybe coinciding with US school holiday's finishing?

Its not just coach thats oversold, the front is pretty well loaded too. I figure they're minting money.
