Continental Flight, What Is The Amadeus Res #?

Fri Aug 04, 2006 3:34 pm

Hi guys,

I bought a ticket with legs in both Continental and Copa. I wanted to check my itinerary through checkmytrip.com but I had no luck. From what I got from my travel agent, he gave me two confirmation numbers. One for the Copa flights and another for the CO flights. Both are 6 digits/letters codes.

None of them work in that website. Is there a way to find out which is the amadeus reservation number for my trip?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Saludos desde Caracas,
Luis

Luis,
Checkmytrip.com requires the Amadeus locator, not the individual airline's locator. That's why it won't work. If you have an invoice or itinerary copy from your agent, there should be a booking reference code printed towards the upper right portion of the document. This is the locator you need to use.
It's been swell, but the swelling has gone down.

I have a similar question: I have booked a trip on Delta via their website - quite naturally I got only their locator, but not the Amadeus one. Are there any possibilities to find out the Amadeus locator as well?

Cheers,
Harald

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your situation... If you booked your trip on Delta's own website, there won't be any Amadeus record locator, because Amadeus has nothing to do with the booking. Delta does not use Amadeus.

You can only check itineraries with Amadeus locator in checkmytrip.com and Galileo locators in https://www.viewtrip.com/en-US/ViewTrip.asp

Anyone know for LX? I've booked on their website, and also got an alphanumeric code of 6 values, and also no luck on either Amadeus or Galileo..

Thanks,

Max
