Pilot Update At Mesaba

Thu Aug 10, 2006 11:35 am

ALPA has told Mesaba management it will not be attending the talks previously scheduled for this week. Mesaba management is very disappointed in this decision.
The company is evaluating its cash position and exploring all of their options.

Well maybe the company will take this opportunity to talk to the FAs instead. Company hasn't talked with AFA for over 60 days now. Once again XJ mgmt put all their eggs in one basket. It became obvious that mgmt was looking to get the pilots on board, and then brin the FAs and mechanics in. ALPA knows they are being used, and decided not to be used.
