Boeing Shifts 737's To PAE

Fri Aug 11, 2006 5:58 am

With BFI closing next week, it looks like Boeing has chosen today to shift most of the 737's to PAE.

This means our Canadian friends (yes you, Al!) can come down and get 3 times the action for the same price. Lots of '37s buzzing around the next couple of weeks.

Here's hoping for nice weather!

See the press release here.

It's a temporary closure of the big runway for maintenance and rehabilitation.

I work across the street from PAE and it will be nice to see some more traffic.

It appears to be only temporary as they renovate the main runway at BFI:

Should allow for some more action up here around the Everett plant! Unfortunately, looks like most of the cargo heavies will be using SEA instead  Sad

No wonder this TK 738 was at PAE!

Bummer...I was on the Boeing ramp at PAE just a few weeks ago, would have been nice to catch some 737s.

The B737-900ER roll-out was still at Renton, though.

The post was merely to inform those who might have preferred seeing a new version instead of the previous iterations.
