What Airline Is TAA, Where Can I Find Data?

Sat Aug 12, 2006 3:33 am

Our ailing Lloyd Aereo Boliviano "LAB" (LB) is supposed to be negotiating with a "British-American" Airline called TAA (Trans America Airlines Limited).

I have no details nor could I find them on the photo page.

Any idea?

TAA I believe was Trans Australia Airlines. I'm not sure what happened to them, but they may have been merged into one of the Australian majors (Qantas, Ansett - now defunct). Try a google search on it  smile .

Trans Australia Airlines

Could be correct but does not apply to the TAA I´m talking about as indicated, they are called "Trans American Airlines".

Correct - TAA was Trans Australia Airlines before changing their name to Australian Airlines, and then being bought out by Qantas.

Which is a subsidiary of Qantas, but not directly the original TAA or Australian

Maybe its TransAmerica Avation LLC which is an aircraft leasing company part of TransAmerica Corp.
