777 Fly By At Snoqualmie Ridge

Fri Aug 18, 2006 11:10 pm

For anyone interested, Boeing will be flying a 777 over the Boeing Greater Seattle Classic this morning. I believe it is scheduled for 9:50am, and sounds like it will be pretty awesome. They are going to fly it down the 18th green fairway and then warp it into a 90 degree turn, all at a 1,000 feet.

Airframe will be 32435 583 WD506 777-346ER Japan Airlines JA736J

Anyone going to get a few pictures of this?

And why are they doing this? Just for the golf tournament?
