She is operating an ACMI for Air Namibia for a few weeks due to the delay in delivery of their second A340. The last MD-11 was returned to lessor last week and replaced by the MH 744.

When I spoke to their UK manager on the weekend he said it would be in place at least till the end of the month and maybe a little longer.

Question not strictly related to this but another user's username!

Was there ever a 747-400B? I thought only the 747-200 had the "B" suffix applied and that 747-400s were straight 747-400s with only the "F" suffix ever added to denote a freighter.
