Hand Baggage Situation - Flying To The UK

Thu Aug 24, 2006 10:36 pm

Hi,

Just wondering what the hand baggage situation is when flying to the UK. Friends of mine just flew home from Miami and were allowed to take hand luggage on. I am flying from Beijing - LHR next month and usually come home with a ton of heavy hand luggage. Just wondering what the situation is.

Also, what is the cost of excess baggage when flying China - UK with BA once you go over the 20Kg limit.

Thanks for any help provided,

AirWales.

If you're flying FROM UK, It's only ONE extremely small piece per person. A medium-sized backpack would maybe make it. About the excess baggage, check ba.com for that, they might have it. Have a nice trip!  Smile
