Wed Aug 30, 2006 10:57 am

How often are the A320s at the JFK T-6 Satellite Gates? I thought that was going to be a rare occurance, but 97 to DEN departed 20 last night and now today the following flights departed/arrived T6 Sat gates

87 to SLC out of 22
121 to MCO from 22
6 to BUF 20
39 to FLL 22
204 from LGB at 22
206 from LGB at 22

A lot of A320s use the satellite gates as well. However, most E190 flights if not all operate from the satellite gates.

I think the reason is to relieve times of high-capacity in the main terminal, which in turn gives customers a better experience. Go to T6 at 7:00pm on any day of the week and you'll see how packed it is.
