Wow, definitely great to see Allegiant back in growth mode. CHA, as well as HTS and GSP should do quite well to Orlando/Sanford. Now how about a new gateway city to complement SFB and LAS? Tampa/St. Pete? Atlantic City? Myrtle Beach?

That is great News!!! I lived a few miles from CHA for about a year, and it was always a thrill when something other than RJ's came in on a diversion, now it can be a regular sight.

Over the past year, CHA has gained service from
AA to DFW
CO to HOU
and now Allegiant to SFB

This airport is growing fast

Next for Allegiant is TYS?

A new vacation destination city and more new stations are still coming in the next few weeks.

is this long discussed PIE for the vacation destination? By new destinations, is that from the new vacation spot or new to the entire route map?

Should see a few more announcements over the next 2 weeks. Maybe we'll see them announce the new vacation city last to cap off a couple weeks of expansion announcements. It will be interesting how many aircraft they allocate to this new vacation city. IIRC, they put 3 at SFB when it first started.

Like Flyinryan99 says, I expect there will be a few new cities added to the route map.

There will also be an announcement of a new focus city/vacation spot/hub/etc. That will probably start with flights to 4 to 6 existing cities.

Sounds good! Here's hoping for a few more Midwestern ones...*cough*

And we can start speculating on the new hub...my vote is for PIE.

I don't think too much speculation is needed.  Wink

Let's say that PIE is the new Vacation/ Hub/ Focus city.

What cities can expect to recieve service from it??

I would expect the top performing cities to see it first. Assuming 4 - RFD, ABE, SWF, TOL are the top 4 markets out of SFB. Maybe a few more you could throw into the mix - LAN, SBN, BLV and DSM.

How about AVL? There are quite a few Floridians that have vacation homes
in the mountains of Western North Carolina, plus my alma mater Western
Carolina Univ has a lot of students from FL as well. But then again GSP is
not that far either.

The new focus city will be PIE with service starting mid November. The operation will have 34 weekly flights with two allocated aircraft. Not sure of destinations but take ABE to the bank. They average service 3-4 times a week to each destination so do the math, 6-9 cities maybe.
