Thats neat....I actually have an actual phoptograph of the very first flight sent to me back in the 80s by Milton Kuolt. It was operated with Fairchild F-27, N272PH....Too bad that aircraft isnt still around or they might have been able to use it..LOL  Smile
N272PH became N272RD with Airlift International and was subsequently written off as a result of a hurricane going thru Miami and damaging their whole fleet of F-27s.

Happy Silver Anniversary Horizon Air!!!!!!!!!

Happy 25th Anniversary Horizon!

I have a couple of co-workers that have been around Horizon for a while who have the honor of being on that flight. KarlB737, thanks for the link. I love the picture they have of 425QX flying over Mount Rainier!

I was talking about HorizonGirl ,

I'm here!  Smile

Well I am REALLY happy to see this, and it's wonderful
to see that QX has hit this 25 year milestone.
I am sure that they will be around for many years to come,
providing the amazing service they are known for.

Congratulations Horizon Air!  hyper

Has anyone seen the videos about the history of QX?
They are on Alaskasworld.com
They're pretty interesting. There are also videos of N425QX,
the special livery plane being painted and it's unveiling.
The day after I watched the videos I saw N425QX fly right
over my house. It was a cool and somewhat freaky coincidence.

I'm going to be a pilot for QX, and if I am able to accomplish
that, it will be an honour to represent an airline that
"treats costumers better than any other airline."
