What Would It Take?

Mon Sep 04, 2006 1:46 pm

I was just pondering while I was brushing my teeth tonight...thinking about the Comair crash, and other recent events not only in the U.S., but world wide, what would it take to stop all air traffic movement in at least the U.S....or maybe another nation? What would it take besides a major terrorist attack? Several crashes? Something political? Random accounts of fuel contamination? I am just looking for insights and thaughts - not trying to start anything bad, simple comments and or thaughts please. What do you think? BTW- My regards to the friends and families of the crew and passengers aboard Comair 191.

Well, considering it's only happened once, I don't really know that anyone knows the answer to this question. I would guess it would have to pretty much be a matter of national security, to bring all air traffic to a stop.
