Find Which Ac Operated A Route Online?

Tue Sep 05, 2006 6:04 pm

Are there any reliable online sites that I can use to check which aircraft was used to fly a route on a particular day?

I flew SYD-SIN on SQ220 yesterday (Monday Sept 4th). As always I noted it's number (I like to keep my diary updated!). Now I was sure the two letters on the open front landing gear door said RB, and it was definitely a 744, which should be 9V-SPR following the usual SQ convention. Unfortunately I trusted my memory and didn't write it down so I can't be 100% sure.

I can't find any pics of this reg on a.net, and the only web reference I can find for it is at aerotransport.org which says this reg was for a cancelled order - though that info may be outdated.

Is there a 9V-SPR? Did I just fly on a plane with no pics in the database? There's a first time for everything, I suppose!

Quoting Mcr (Thread starter):

Usually the letter on the nosewheel door are the last 2 which in the case of 9V-SPR would be PR so out of interest how did you translate RB = 9V-SPR?
