BMI A330 LAS Problem

Sat Sep 09, 2006 5:00 am

This past Tuesday, the Star Alliance a/c arrived here from Manchester in what appeared as a normal flight. The departing sector back to MAN was cancelled and the a/c has been here ever since. The Thursday flight came and went as normal. With this a/c sitting on the ground at LAS for such an extended period with what appears to be no activity, does anyone know what is happening? With BMI's "thin" fleet of international a/c, this must be wreaking havoc on their schedule.

Indeed, it is causing major problems, but I don't know the fault on the plane i'm afraid  Sad

Nice bird she is, I've flown her too  Smile

BD 705 from MAN to ORD was cancelled yesterday, as was the rtn arrival this morning of BD 706 into MAN.

The above flight was also cancelled today too, as is the arrival into MAN tomorrow  Sad

Too many flights and (now) not enough aircraft. This is what happens when you don't have a standby Long haul bird I guess.

BMIFlyer...The good news is the a/c is obviously OK now as it ferried out to ORD in the mid afternoon.
