BA A320 Emergency Landing At BRU / Smoke In Cargo

This evening around 19.15 a British Airways Airbus A320 registered G-BUSF flying from London Heathrow to Frankfurt had to make an emergency landing at Brussels Airport. Inflight the pilots where warned by the cargo hold smoke detector and decided to make an emergency landing at Brussels. Passengers and crew evacuated via the emergency slides.

generally yes, slides are repacked.

How long does it take to repack those slides? Whas it out for several days?
