It is a Piper 46 that crashed on a house before getting at the Toluca airport. The news state that there were 7 people injured. And there is not a confirmation of how many death people. News are not very clear even at this time because there are big major events going on in Mexico today.

I am deeply saddened when a talented young actor like Pablo Santos loses his life at such a young age. Pablo was born January 9, 1987 in Monterrey, Neuvo León, Mexico. At the age of 12 he moved with his family to Los Angeles where he began his career as an actor. In 2002 he landed a leading role in the TV sitcom "Greetings From Tucson" in which he played the role of David Tiant. That same year he appeared in an epidode of "Law & Order - Special Victims Unit" and in 2004 he played the role of Caezar in the film "Party Animalz"

Pablo Santos

At 08h27 on Friday September 15, 2006 Pablo and a few friends left Monterrey in his father's Piper Malibu Mirage registration XB-JVH for Acapulco on the Mexican west coast. Apparently they convinced the pilot to take on a seventh passenger at the last minute. The Malibu is certified to carry six people. Some hours into the flight the engine coughed and spluttered and the cockpit/cabin began to fill with smoke. The nearest airport was Toluca, 55 km west of Mexico City. The pilot (not Pablo Santos) decided to carry out an emergency landing at Toluca. However on finals the engine cut out and the plane rapidly lost height and crashed about a 1½ km short of the runway. The accident occured at around 12h20. Although all seven occupants were still alive, all were badly injured. Santos was rushed to the Social Security Hospital in Toluca where he died shortly after. Santos' friend, 19-year-old Martel Fernandez also died early Saturday.
