That looks way too small of a cabin to be inside the A380, or am I mistaken ?

From the article:

The interior of 001 is full of flight-test equipment, with a “mini-cabin” incorporating around 30 passenger seats installed on the upper deck.

I also liked the brief summary on the pilot's impressions (click on his name in the article). I guess Flight International is selling big after this teaser Big grin

It looks an awful lot like a 777 interior. The overhead bins and structure seem identical to the ones I saw just a few days ago on a 773ER. But I think the giveaway that it is in fact the upper level of the A380 is the curvature of the wall...look at the wall on the left side of the picture and notice how much it curves inward. That's definitely the A380 upper deck.
